The investments for such productions are substantial because the minimum production required by the manufacturers for a motor unit or a wagon varies between 800 and 1200 parts of the same model!
These first parameters having been set, it seems difficult to invest without really knowing where you are going. As proof, the various foreign producers who have tried their hand at the exercise by offering French engines (traditionally the strongest sales potential) (Kiss, MTH, Sunset Model, etc.) have since left and no longer offer anything typically French !
So, the solution is to take charge and that the amateurs themselves participate in the future of the French Zero by supporting the release of typically French models through crowdfunding, as is underway for several motor vehicle projects. and our Stef refrigerated wagons.
We invite you to participate in the manufacture of typically French models of locomotives or freight wagons by supporting us by pre-booking part of the planned production.
With your support in the form of reservation of future models, we ensure at least part of the investments necessary for the manufacture of the models, financing the rest by ourselves.
For this, it is necessary for us to pre-sell 400 copies of the model offered during subscription.
Nothing utopian since if each member of the Cercle du Zéro (regularly claiming with body and cries typical French models) reserves a copy, the fundraising is assured quickly!

Given the French market, there will be little chance of redoing a draw for a new series, once the 1st series is sold out. We cannot therefore hope to amortize the molds over several series.

The first model we proposed is a modelemblematic and essential of the French freight wagon fleet: the STEF Standard type refrigerated wagon and its Marcel Milelt derivative!

Scale models
The manufacture of the models uses injected plastic and others depending on its destination, metal, photoengraving, depending on the models.
The models are composed of more than 120 parts for a wagon like the refrigerant to around 420 parts for a diesel locomotive!
The body is made of injected plastic, which is also the case for various accessories;
The frame is made of metal or plastic;
The detailing of the chassis includes the various necessary components, such as the brake shoes in front of the wheels;
Axles with metal wheels isolated from the axis to NEM standards, the finest, in order to be able to circulate on all types of tracks existing on the market;
A suspension is assured;
The bearing is on a pivot;
Buffers are spring loaded;
A close hitch system compatible to receive Lenz hitch heads is provided and functional screw hitches are also provided. The amateur will thus have the choice of the hitch according to his preferences.
The models are painted and decorated with pad printing.
The decorations respect the real provisions of the markings with their differences by following the real graphics. They are designed by us in order to respect all the particularities of French markings.
The scale model manufacturer
The manufacturer chosen for the design and production of the models is one of those who currently officiate for a large number of European producers and many other countries in the world.
He therefore already has a very great habit in the realization of European models and their specificities and his skills are widely recognized and appreciated for the quality of his models as you can see by detailing the photos of the refrigerated wagons of our production. (see section; wagons).
The producer

For those who don't know us yet, we have been in the world of scale models, and more particularly of the model railway, for more than 40 years, not counting the years as a simple amateur, so to speak.
I didn't fall into the railroad, I was born into it. My father was an Autorails and Diesel driver at the Batignolles Remblai depot. He was also the technical adviser of SMCF, Hornby, KM 108 and many others, but above all and mainly that of Jouef until the 1980s. It is thanks to him that you were able to acquire beautiful models which will delight your childhood. He is also the author of 80% of the drawings and texts appearing in the documentary files of Loco Revue. To complete my education, a good fairy bent over my cradle because my godmother's husband was a certain Marcel Le Guay! Many other amateurs, known or anonymous, of real or miniature railways, as well as professionals like Mr. Lequesne, fed my passion and taught me a lot of our knowledge and our current knowledge that we have completed over the years. years by our experiments and our researches. May they all be thanked here.
We have hundreds of manufactures and achievements to our credit for our own brand Haxo Model but also for other well-known brands on the market, both in high-end models and for injected plastic models. This allows us to be able to manage this type of project from A to Z by mastering all the subtleties specific to each production.
Our extensive documentation and that of our friends, allows us to set up a technical file, with plans of the manufacturers and photos, well supplied by insisting particularly on the particular points of each model.
The follow-up of the study and the manufacture is carried out by our care, associated with the know-how of our manufacturer, this promises to offer you achievements of good quality.
The decorations are designed by us in order to respect all the particularities of the markings of the French models.
Our passion for the 0 scale has meant that we have been campaigning and offering 0 to amateurs for more than 35 years, when at the time it was a great desert, apart from a few "high-end" productions.
As a teenager in the 1970s, we cut our teeth on the AFAC "0" network at the Gare e l'Est in Paris by starting to lay track on wooden sleepers with lag bolts to hold the rails. .
We have been part of the Circle of Zero since the 80s, having even accompanied the creation of Euro 0 and proposed or given our opinion on various Morop standards always for 0.
Who is Rail 43?
Rail 43 is one of the constituents of the Sarl APR Prod launched in 2021 for the production of its first wagon..
It is a family Sarl, since bringing together my children, whom some of you have known when they came to lend us a hand at trade shows and who are already used to this very special universe, they will be able to lend us a hand. strong as needed and yours truly.
Why did you create this Sarl?
For several reasons :
-The first is to separate our current company "Haxo Model" from this new company to avoid any ambiguities,
-The second to prevent "bad tongues" from thinking that this participatory launch will finance Haxo Model. No, each company will make "its life" and its path,
-The third being that the manufacturing process takes some time between the launch of the studies and the release of production, it takes between 12 and 18 months, so everyone can clearly follow the evolution of the new entity and the funds obtained thanks to you!

As explained in the preamble, the French market is still in its infancy and still needs to be built on this scale.
The investments are heavy and must be assured of a certain level of presale to start such a production of 1200 pieces!
Consequently, your involvement in the development of Zero in France is essential and must be supported by your subscriptions which will make it possible to finance part of the manufacturing, the rest being supported by our company.
Why not go through a crowdfunding platform such as Ululle?
For the following reasons :

The subscription
The subscription period is generally 2 to 3 months.
We think it is not useful to leave more time, either the project speaks to you and you quickly decide not to let this opportunity pass, or you are not interested and even if you had more time, you wouldn't subscribe! You still have 2 or 3 months to decide, but the sooner we arrive at the result, the sooner the production will be started!

Payment methods
To subscribe, we accept payment by check and bank transfer.
Checks should be made payable to APR Prod and sent to us with your order at

We will put your checks for cashing the month following the closing of the subscription, if it has collected the necessary number of orders.
For transfers, during the subscription period, we await your orders with the quantity of model desired as well as your signed commitment so that, when we ask you to pay the amount of the subscription, you will respect the terms of the contract established by concretizing it. by the payment provided by bank transfer.
This request will be made in the month following the closing of the subscription as for cheques.

Your guarantees
If the project is successful, the checks will then be cashed in the month following the end of the subscription, that is to say in April 2021, and we will ask those who have reserved for a transfer to make the promised transfer. .
If we don't reach the goal, we will return your checks to you.
The subscription prices will be maintained for 2 months but may vary depending on legal obligations, for example if there is a VAT increase imposed by the authorities, during or after.
