Although the choice of model is not unanimous (the opposite would have been surprising), some enthusiasts would have preferred an era IV bogie wagon for various reasons, but a very large majority of you also like it. well in epoch III that IV and the first subscriptions are there to confirm that the choice of the model is not so bad.
The choice of model also appeals to amateurs living abroad. Orders from: Portugal, Holland, Belgium, England have already been placed.
To date, there have been 1,780 visits to the site (if there was one order per visitor, the subscription would be closed) and 80 models, all variants combined, have been reserved. Part by check, part by transfer and part in transit.
For this first week of launch, it's not bad, we are still far from the goal but if you continue to subscribe to this momentum, the goal seems achievable!
We have set up a new page "The model" so you do not have to go through the "Presentation" page again, to return to see the different models that we offer.
We have added two new references requested by enthusiasts of era IV, a white roof version and a Marcel Millet version.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
For non-EEC amateurs, we have added the prices excluding VAT to the subscription voucher. So fans from countries like Switzerland or England but also for other more distant destinations, will pay VAT in their respective country.
For France and the member countries of the EEC, the inclusive rate applies.
Amateurs interested in buying several models but could not budget for it all at once, asked us to be able to spread out the regulations. We accept a spread over 2 to 3 months depending on the amount, to do this contact us before to settle the terms.
Manufacturing time: as already written, the time announced by our manufacturer is 10 months. We estimate it will be at least 12 months. If we take into account the time it takes to register the company and other administrative procedures to be carried out after the end of the launch campaign (end of March), a delivery around May 2022 is possible.

15 days after the launch of the subscription campaign, 27% of the purpose has been reached. There is still a long way to go, but we have no doubt that many other subscriptions are reaching us in order to be able to launch the manufacture of this essential model of the French railway.
Our German friends reacted this week, we received several subscriptions from this country as well as from other countries.
Without too much surprise, it is the versions of epoch III which are the most popular almost 5 times more but the scores of epoch IV are not disappointing remaining in the forecasts at least for the first issue, the other versions coming. to be added this week.
We have added 2 new references to satisfy Epoque IV UIC enthusiasts with a Stef with a white roof and another number than that of his brother with a black roof and a UIC version of the Marcel Millet since this one also experienced this period.

After 3 weeks of launch, 30% of the purpose has been reached.
We expected a resurgence of subscriptions since the clarification of the Cercle du Zéro concerning its position, but on the contrary, it is dead calm as on the thread of the Cercle forum since there is no more " dispute"!
The fans of 0 and the members of the circle must be gone on vacation because this week the return of subscriptions was very poor.
Maybe in the coming weeks ... we hope for the future of this model!

To date, 40% of the target has been reached, there is still a long way to go but nothing is lost yet!

It is a very important step which has just been taken and which allows us to say that everything is still possible.
Now that "peace" has returned to a certain forum, we are counting on the undecided who will be able to make their decision freely and in all serenity in order to bring this project to life, which will benefit all fans of era III as well as IV.
Because the rise of French zero at a "democratic" price will fall on everyone from French zero and should allow as many people as possible to finally take advantage of this great scale and develop other projects.
Democratic, does not mean "low-end", the aim being to manufacture wagons in a good quality of construction and finish in the image of what our British and German neighbors do.
Now that the forums are calm, we'll take you through the model in more detail as the days go by.

On this beautiful day at the beginning of spring, we are happy to report good progress this week because we have just reached 58% of the purpose.
There is still some way to go to reach 100% for 100% but we believe that it is still achievable for many customers who have not yet made their decision or have not yet sent their subscription.
The deadline is near, if the results are encouraging we may extend the closing date of the subscription to give a chance for this project to live, but no decision has yet been taken in this direction. In the meantime, thank you all for continuing this project.
To all those who have initiated threads on various foreign or even national forums, thank you for relaying this information on the corresponding threads in order to keep readers informed. Not being able to be everywhere at the same time, this will be of great help to us.

The deadline for subscribing to the Standard Stef Rail 43 fridge comes to an end today.
We would have liked to announce that the target of 400 subscriptions was reached but to date this is not yet the case.
We still remain optimistic because we are not very far from it ... In fact, during the past week, a great upturn in activity took place with the receipt of numerous subscriptions coming from France and abroad, jumped the reservation rate and rekindle our optimism.
There are now 301 reserved cars and thanks to your subscriptions you have reached 75% of the target!
So in front of these good results, the amount of work carried out and waiting for them from amateurs who have committed themselves by their subscriptions, it would be a shame to disappoint them and stop in such a good way because the objective is really only at a short range ...
For all these good reasons and many more, we have decided to give this project a chance by extending the subscription by one month, until April 30, 2021!
This will hopefully yield the last hundred models needed to start manufacturing. This is (very) good news for this nice wagon, well known to all in France and abroad and which deserves to appear on all networks, dioramas, showcases and collection!

Some remarks heard:
I dare not mix brass models with plastic and metal models: We will answer that given the reproduction quality of current industrial models, the difference is no longer visible and sometimes even better in favor of injected models!
We are far from the days of the Lima models (which remain good models for years but which now bear the weight of years). Just look at a Lenz or Schnellenkamp model to be convinced.
The manufacturing time is still set at one year at the end of the subscription period. With the extension of this, the provisional delivery date is therefore postponed by one month.
Update on the distribution of models according to Epochs III and IV. As expected, the bulk of reservations went to Epoch 3 wagons. The order rate of epoch 4 is not negligible but significantly below. Too bad for a wagon which was still running at the dawn of the 80's but which actually did not have ... a bogie (Lol).
The “Millet” version is in great demand. In reality, the Millet fleet will have 4 wagons of this model, so you can purchase more than one without being anachronistic.
We are counting on you to achieve the target which is only at a (very) short range!

The subscription period at preferential rates is now closed.
You can still reserve the models at normal prices. These prices will certainly undergo an increase at the time of release given the increases announced on manufacturing because of the Covid (raw material + 30% on average, increase in charges and wages, increase in transport costs, etc.).
We are awaiting feedback from the various administrations for the registration of the company, it is in progress. We can then unblock the bank account and we can start collecting or transferring your subscriptions.
In the meantime, we are working with our manufacturer to define details and the best means of achieving them in order to deliver a beautiful model to you.
In the coming weeks, the Rail 43 website will undergo major modifications in order to adapt it to the next phase of production monitoring.
Do not be surprised if there are any malfunctions or inaccessible pages during this time.

A.P.R. Prod s.a.r.l. is the company that manages Rail 43 and its productions.
It is now in activity since 01-06-2021.
Our manufacturer began to work following the document package we provided and our guidelines for choosing standards, level of detail couplings, etc, etc.

The 3D model drawings are in progress.
We had various discussions with the manufacturer in order to define certain parts, comply with certain standards, etc., etc. For the moment we have nothing of interest to show you but as soon as we have the first drawings, we will present them to you in order to share them with you and collect your first impressions.
