FAQ - Your questions, our answers

Do I have to pay immediately when I subscribe?
No. During the subscription period, we do not collect any money. Your checks are not cashed No transfers are to be made at the moment No credit cards are debited. ​

Can I pay in installments? Yes, you can pay in 1, 2 or 3 installments depending on the number of models for which you subscribe. See the subscription page for more details. ​
If the subscription does not reach its goal, what will happen? If we do not reach the minimum quantity required to launch this machine, well ... nothing will be done! No payment will be cashed, the checks will be returned to the subscribers, the credit card numbers will be destroyed and no transfer will be made. We will have lost energy and time ... for nothing. ​
Why don't you go through a financing platform like "Ulule"? For several reasons: - This type of platform is mainly aimed at the general public who will have little or no interest in our project, which is aimed at a clientele of passionate amateurs, most of whom we know. - They offer a beautiful presentation and beautiful content for a fee (+5 to 8%), which is quite normal since they provide a service. We prefer to invest these significant amounts in the project to offer you very detailed models. - Another disadvantage, and not the least for the subscriber, is that you have to pay the subscription amount immediately upon commitment without knowing if it will succeed and without the possibility of payment in installments.
- Finally, the objectives pre-defined at launch can be modified according to the needs of the project leader...

Our new proposal has been very well received by enthusiasts who are delighted to be able to acquire a small machine for their maneuvers at a "bargain" price!
The first subscriptions have already taken place on site at the Orleans show and are starting to arrive from all over France.
Thank you all for this welcome which requires the mobilization of all to reach the 200 subscriptions required to start manufacturing. During the week we will update the subscriptions already received.

Here is the first point on the participatory subscription that we launched at the Orléans show for this small Y 2200 shunter.
The first subscriptions were collected on the occasion of this one and new ones have now arrived.
Still no launch via the Ulule platform, always for the same reasons, we prefer to fully devote the funds collected to offer you very detailed models.
Our own gauge which is at the top of this page, will regularly inform you on the progress of the subscription. ​
For the moment we count about twenty firm subscriptions, or 10% of the objective.
And we know that for example the regional sections of the Cercle du Zéro as well as the Amis du Zéro are in the process of grouping their members to pool the subscriptions in order to benefit from the best rates that we offer.
If you are an individual, you can group together with friends, buddies, acquaintances, members of your club and anyone interested in order to also benefit from the preferential rates offered. Let those around you know who are not yet informed of this launch know.
We remind you that the subscription campaign is open until December 30, 2024. The modest subscription target is 200 copies. We would like to be able to announce that this target has been reached at RailExpo at the end of November!
So don't wait for others to subscribe for you and don't wait until the last minute to send us your subscription form! You are still hesitant because of bad past experiences.
Take the plunge with us, especially since you have nothing to fear because we are not asking for or collecting any payment at the moment.
These will start in January when the objective is reached as we did for the 2 wagons previously proposed (Stef refrigerated wagons and grain wagons) and according to conditions and payment facilities that you can see in detail on the subscription form made available to you on the page "the Y 2200 subscription" of this site.

The idea of ​​being able to acquire this small machine is very popular and HO scale enthusiasts have told us they want to get started in 0 thanks to this machine that requires little space to be able to move around on a small diorama and maneuver with a few wagons for hours and it will be just as useful on a larger network in a depot, a workshop and in your freight yard or online to serve a particular branch line. ​ Still have doubts?

New update on the progress of the participatory subscription of the SNCF Y 2200 shunter.
To date, 21% of the objective has been reached, which represents 42 firm subscriptions.
Reminder, we only count the subscriptions actually received in our premises.
That is a doubling of the quantity compared to our previous point.
Subscriptions are coming in slowly but regularly.
Thank you to those who sent their subscription by email or mail. ​
Do not hesitate to subscribe, do not wait for others to do so! ​ No risk for you during this period since we strictly do not collect any payment! ​
To answer questions about power supply. ​
It is originally planned in an analog version but a digital version is also planned.
Why release the model in an analog version?
For several reasons:
-The first is that not everyone necessarily wants a digital version for various reasons including the additional cost of this equipment varying whether it is a simple decoder or a sound decoder. Why charge more for a system that some will never use.
-The second is that for "picky" amateurs in the field, the components that can be supplied originally and the sound, do not suit them. They like to do their own installation and their own sound. ​
This is why we offer this model in an analog version but with an original digital option not yet costed but also the possibility for those who wish to be able to install the necessary accessories themselves easily. The removal of the covers should facilitate the installation of the decoder on the electronic board without much complication. ​ A small machine like this is great, it turns on small radius, it takes up little space even to make one or more modules, it is cheaper than a Köf Lenz, it is typically French, unheard of at this scale (Haxo Modèle manufactured the Y2100 and Y2400) and offered at "bargain" prices if you subscribe! Don't wait any longer, go for it! The faster we reach the goal, the faster we can start manufacturing the model! ​

But where have you been?
Indeed, for some time now, we* have not had much news from you and we are running out of gas.
After a relatively energetic start, subscriptions continue to come in "very" nicely but we still need you to reach our goal of 200 reservations by the end of December.
Of course, there is still time, but the sooner we reach the goal, the sooner we will be able to get started and finalize the study of the model.
Your commitment will also encourage some of the undecided to take the plunge!
We are currently at 25% of the goal after 6 weeks of subscriptions.

Are there too many Zero models on the market?
Is your collection already quite extensive?
Our Y 2200 should still find its place there because it does not take up much space but it can provide many services.
The choice of model may be wrong and it does not interest you, however it is the opportunity to change from the eternal "Köf" usually dedicated to maneuvers on your network.
As for the price... lower than many wagons on our scale!
Failing to announce at Railexpo the launch of this nice project, we continue to hope that it will be finalized in the remaining month and a half.
Remember that during the subscription period, we do not ask you for any funds, simply your commitment to be there when in January we ask you to pay your participation in 1, 2 or 3 installments without fees!
Unfortunately, if this modest project does not succeed, there is little chance that there will be many others proposed for engine equipment...
Since the investments are substantial, we cannot afford to go blindly to produce models on this scale in plastic and metal at an affordable price.
And we will unfortunately be able to see that we are still a long way from the German market and even more from the British one.
We are counting on you to move forward and we will keep you informed as usual of the progress of the subscriptions which, for the moment I remind you, do not ask you to pay any funds but simply a commitment on your part when we launch production in January.
For those who have grouped together to benefit from a better price, send us your purchasing intentions now, you can always complete them if new ones arrive in the meantime but this will move things forward.

And even if you can't find a group, the discount, compared to the extimated release price, from the first model already allows you to benefit from a model at a very advantageous price for 0!
